Sherlock劇組在11/11有一場粉絲問答見面會，由Mark主持，主要是為LLGS (London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard)進行募款。Una跟Andrew原本會來，後來有事無法到場還滿可惜的，不過可以看到難得一見的Rupert還是很令人開心。開場可愛的Ian簡單介紹一下LLGS這個團體以及捐款會用在什麼地方，接下來就交棒到主持人Mark，看粉絲的報導覺得Mark主持功力應該滿不錯的，Q&A從頭到尾都沒冷場歡樂連連。

Mark Gatiss read through ALL THE E-MAIL QUESTIONS and decided on which ones he wanted to ask his “friends”. Most of them were specifically hand chosen by him for maximum embarrassment of his comrades.

He specifically chose one such question for Rupert Graves when he sat down. He turned to Rupert, who was wearing an adorable scarf, his usual foxy silver hair, and that adorable little Rupert grin, and read the question: “Are you aware that despite never being seen on screen together” (cue the ENTIRE audience dying of laughter because we ALL KNEW WHAT HE WAS GOING TO ASK) “fans seem to fancy Mycroft and Lestrade together [as a couple]”. Rupert’s facial expressions were fantastic. First his eyes widened like his mind was blown. Then he started laughing along with the audience.

“Will John wear red pants?” to which the entire cast was completely baffled but like “Ummm maybe?” But then Martin Freeman just sort of crossed his legs, sat back, shook his head and went “No, I know what they’re talking about” completely seriously. Mark then asked, eyebrow raised, “Do you, now?” to which Martin replied “Yes, I do. I really do.” And then proceeded to call the fans “fucking” something (dirty or shocking, I couldn’t quite hear and from the responses I’m seeing from everyone there isn’t quite an agreed on take).
Martin竟然知道red pants，到底是他自己主動去看，還是Amanda找給他看的。偉哉Martin Freeman居然可以接受自己的同人梗接受到這種地步，真是太厲害了。
There was a lot of wonderful talk about the writing process for Moffat and Gatiss and there were some really great questions about queers in the media and how it affects them. Loo went on this huge spiel about older women and the media’s image of heroines and such and it was just wonderful. I love hearing her get on her soap box because she’s so passionate and adorable and just a really wonderful woman.

Rupert Graves is extremely clueless as to what happens in the fandom. Many things had to be explained to him.
Rupert當五個孩子的爸太忙了沒時間到網路上閒晃，不知道同人梗還頗正常。不過為什麼其他人都知道同人梗，這些人沒事都在網路上偷窺粉絲就像我們偷窺他們一樣嗎？
Gatiss was asked at one point if he could give us any hints on how Sebastian Moran will be portrayed since he hasn’t been in the series yet, to which he replied with his evil little smirk, “Hasn’t he?”
怎麼辦...那句“Hasn’t he?”實在是太欠打，我好想打Mark一頓...
Gatiss read a question that talked about how he is accused of writing in all the homoerotic content while Moffat is accused of taking it away, to which Moffat clarified it’s the exact opposite, and that he wrote the “date” scene at Angelo’s in the first episode to fill in more time and Gatiss read it and said “This will be all anyone will ever talk about!” Well predicted, Gatiss.
真意外，我一直以為這部片之所以有這麼多萌點都是Mark的傑作，看來粉絲反而要感謝魔法特而不是Mark囉？
Gatiss also was also told that he was probably Jack the Ripper in his former life, which he agreed with.
欸？我滿好奇為什麼會說Martk像開膛手傑克。是說Mark為什麼這麼爽快地就贊同了(笑)

Ian快阻止你家那隻!!!!!!!!
The group was asked if they could take any other iconic British things (such as Arthurian cycles or Robin Hood) and modernize them/bring them back, would they and what would they be. Rupert Graves was completely against doing Robin Hood but when someone suggested King Arthur his face lit up like a boy’s face on Christmas morning when he’d unwrapped the very thing he asked Santa for and breathed, “Yeahhh! King Arthur!”

Steven Moffat (on John and Sherlock’s relationship, love story, etc.): “Fancying someone is about how you spend your night. Loving someone is about how you spend your life.”以這個理論來說的話，生命裡全都是偵探的醫生，等於是愛死偵探了耶。
Rupert Graves, when asked in what ways he resembles Lestrade: “Well, we look a lot alike.”

Sporting ultra short silver hair and what Mark Gatiss termed a “Bovver boy” look Rupert was incredibly sweet and looked slightly bewildered every time someone asked him a question.腦海裡不禁浮現像小鹿斑比一樣驚慌的探長。
He said sadly he wouldn’t be doing any theatre any time soon because of his 5 children but hoped to when they were older.
Rupert真是顧家又顧小孩，BC都不知道有多羨慕。
He was asked about his time in the circus leading to my favourite anecdote of the afternoon (rather pleased as this was my question). He said he’d left school without any qualifications and a circus had come to town and needed a clown. So they advertised at the local job centre. So Rupert got the job as an apprentice clown learning various routines and a bit of juggling.

He was then asked (to the great amusement of the audience who were all way ahead of the question) whether he was aware of Mystrade – the popular fan fiction romantic pairing of Mycroft and Lestrade. Rupert found this hilarious and said it was absolutely true and agreed that it was so obvious when you thought about it!
言下之意是探長您之前都沒意識到麥哥偷偷暗戀您嘛?
Then John Watson himself Martin Freeman took to the stage (looking incredibly natty as ever in paisley scarf) to a cacaphony of applause (everyone was met with huge applause as they walked out but the roof practically came off the place when Martin appeared – as Mark said rather dryly “I think they like you.”)

Martin was asked how aware he was about Doctor Watson before taking the role (he confessed he didn’t even know the character’s name was John) and whether he’d done any research for the role. He said he’d spoken to an army doctor who had been in Afghanistan about the realities of war out there.
為了做功課，Martin還真的跑去訪問阿富汗軍醫，敬業。
Moving into the second half the audience had the opportunity to ask questions. There was a question about what each character would wish if they had the chance. Mycroft’s would be for Sherlock to work for him, Lestrade for Sherlock’s brain, Molly for a single kiss with Sherlock “with tongues” (this lead to a hilarious comment about Louise milking the crowd causing naughty Martin to ask “You want to milk Sherlock with your tongue?”)

and Martin felt that John’s wish would be for Sherlock to be a bit more human and understanding about people’s need to date.

There was a lot of discussion about the lovely Christmas party scene in A Scandal in Belgravia. Louise mentioned how excited she’d been about it because she got to go into Baker Street. Rupert discussed how there wasn’t much written for his character to do in that scene so he’d been improvising away and about his reaction to Molly in her beautiful dress & sparkly earrings.

There was an entertaining question about Benedict’s shirts on Sherlock (Louise who knows her fannish stuff pointed out how much everyone loves the purple one!) The shirts were apparently fitted for him at the beginning of series 1 but in between series 1 and 2 he bulked up considerably for Frankenstein. Benedict was meant to go on a crash diet regime to lose the bulk but didn’t (hence as Sue pointed out him looking so good in the scene at Buckingham Palace) and as a result the buttons on the shirts were really straining.
所以偵探緊繃的襯衫只是BC沒減肥成功的意外？我一直以為劇組是故意給偵探穿那麼緊的襯衫耶。
Also towards the end of the shoot he was trying to put on weight for Parade’s End so Mark joked that every time he looked around Benedict was eating pudding and Sue mentioned a scene where Benedict asked her to look after his cake while he was filming!
去拍戲還叫人幫忙看著蛋糕免得被偷吃，這是五歲小朋友才會做的事吧!可我覺得好萌，都已經三十好幾了還這麼萌可以嘛(鼻血)
There was a lot of good natured joshing of the absent Benedict from the slightly bizarre question sent in as to whether Benedict looks like the pale man from Pan’s Labyrinth (to the utter hilarity of all on the panel) to Mark impersonating him.
趁BC不在的時候欺負他，劇組都超壞心的，不過要是BC也在場我想他會自己先演起來，還非常樂在其中。
